I’ve been in practice in Morristown for 25 years. I offer attachment and trauma informed therapy, I work in individual, play, and family therapy. My dissertation was in Attachment Theory, and then I went on to have a great deal of formal post doctoral training in attachment, infancy & early childhood, and trauma.

My practice focuses on helping parents understand the special attachment needs of adoptive and foster children. I often provide developmental evaluations for children who have been adopted and then help with educational planning for trauma and adoption related concerns.

I often see parents with pre- and post-adoption concerns in early, late, domestic and international adoptions; Feelings of grief and loss about infertility related to a decision to adopt; the choice to give a child up for adoption; or concerns about donor conception and surrogacy have brought many people to my practice.

I also see adults with a history of adoption, search and reunion concerns, and/or concerns with identity, grief and loss, or trauma.

Finally, I provide forensic consultation in these areas to educational and family practice attorneys.
