As the country observes the Adoption Consciousness Month, Mark Anthony Viernes of DSWD-10 said during the Philippine Information Agency’s (PIA) media forum, Talakayan sa PIA on February 26 that it is the aim of the department’s adoption program to provide a permanent family to children who no longer receive parental care while the foster care program is created to prepare children for permanent placement.
