Paramus Kidsave event hosts Colombian orphans with adoption as goal

PARAMUS – In Van Saun County Park, a group of kids and adults took part Sunday in what, at first glance, seemed like a perfectly normal summer day.
But the event, part of the Kidsave Summer Miracles Program, was more than just a fun day in the sweltering July sun that included food and outdoor yoga. It was a chance for the children — six orphans from Colombia — and the adults who have been hosting them for several weeks this summer to mix and mingle not only with each other, but others who may be interested in adopting the children.
