PA: Senate acts to close loophole that exempted doctors, clergy from background checks law
PennLive.com – May 10, 2016
Hoping to erase confusion about whether health care personnel and clergy who have direct contact with children or are responsible for their welfare are required to obtain background checks, the state Senate voted 48-0 on Tuesday to make it clear that yes they do.
