PA: Penn State appeals $7.3 million verdict in Mike McQueary’s whistleblower case
Penn Live – November 07, 2016
Penn State is fighting back hard against a $7.3 million civil verdict assessed against it last month on claims raised by former assistant football coach Mike McQueary. McQueary, a star witness in the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case, has contended that his career as a high-level college football coach has been set back because of Penn State officials’ failure to appropriately act on his initial February 2001, sexual abuse report against Sandusky.
