“Permanency is so important for children. It gives them a sense of belonging. In foster care, sometimes the kids don’t know from one year to the next where they’re going to be for Christmas,” said Steuben County Adoption Case Worker Paul Sands. Raising awareness of those issues adoptive families gathered in Bath on Thursday to mark National Adoption Day.
