NY: Report: ACS Conducts Lax Investigations Into Child Abuse And Neglect

The City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) has consistently failed to investigate and report allegations of child abuse, hold its contracted foster care providers to a high standard of care, and maintain accurate records, according to a Department of Investigation report released Tuesday.
