NY: Lawmakers urge Cuomo to cap cases for abuse investigators (Includes video)

Legislation would limit investigators’ active caseloads to 15 at a time. New York’s safety net for abused and neglected children is under stress, with caseworkers charged with keeping those youngsters out of harm’s way too often swamped with more cases than they can handle, their advocates say.
