NJ: Judge ended supervision 2 months before Newark boy was beaten to death in home
NJ.com – November 10, 2016
Less than two months before a 7-year-old boy died in Newark and his mother and her live-in boyfriend were charged in connection with his death, a judge denied a request by child welfare investigators to extend state supervision of the family, according to the state’s top child welfare official.
