NJ: Gov. Chris Christie freezes $100 million in public aid until public employees cut $250 million in health benefits
New York Daily News – July 03, 2016
According to NJ.com, his executive order late Thursday cut into half of the money put away to aid residents of low-income cities such as Camden, Trenton and Asbury Park. It also keeps money from going to programs for preventing domestic violence, assisting Holocaust survivors and promoting court-appointed foster parenting.
