Webinar 2: How to Use Data for Change: Improving Outcomes for Families Affected by Substance Use October 26, 2023

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In most child welfare systems, the majority of cases include parental substance use as a factor in the case. How do practitioners 1) ensure that current efforts are meeting the needs of families and 2) determine whether programmatic and systemic improvements are needed? Practitioners can use data—based on shared outcomes established by child welfare, dependency courts, and substance use service providers—to paint a compelling picture for key decisionmakers to take action to improve outcomes for children and parents.

The presenters will review a step-by-step approach to data-driven decision-making among partners. Learn which child welfare and substance use services data sets can help measure shared outcomes and launch a cross-sector approach to improving outcomes for these children and parents.
