Racial and Cultural Empathy 2026: R.A.C.E. Session 1- History of Racism in the United States September 16, 2026

R.A.C.E. training session 1 will focus on the history of racism within the United States. This training session will focus on helping participants identify historical events that contributed to the development and maintenance of systemic racism in the United Stated. Attendees will be able to identify how the historical events discussed acted to undermine attempts at Black advancement, and how the historical events discussed specifically advantaged White people. This session will also address events that demonstrate how People of Color, who are not Black, have been impact by racism in the United States.

Continuing Education Credits will be offered for this event.
