National Arts & Culture Series: Photos from the End with Oliver Farshi August 20, 2025

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Our National Arts & Culture series highlights award winning photojournalists, filmmakers, authors, and other artists who are creating innovative and inspirational art highlighting end-of-life choices. This first webinar will feature British documentary photographer Oliver Farshi whose photo series A Place to Die was a 2025 World Press Photo Contest winner. His photography explores themes of mortality, care, and vulnerability and has been recently featured in The New York Times Magazine as well as The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, People Magazine and Forbes. Oliver will be joined by end-of-life options advocate Jules Netherland.

This series is an opportunity to engage directly with artists who are innovating as they share stories about end of life experiences. If you have a question for them, you can include it when you register and we will answer it live during the event.
