Medicare Orientation – Understand Your Costs and Choices in Medicare October 24, 2025

Join the NYC Department for the Aging’s HIICAP Program to learn about the Medicare program -, enrollment, costs, choices and more!

The Medicare Orientation will be held as a webinar, NOT IN PERSON. Everyone who registers will receive a link to join the webinar. The workshop will run for approximately 90 minutes.Are you new to Medicare or want to better understand how Medicare works? Come join the NYC Department for the Aging’s Health Insurance Information, Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) at a Medicare Orientation session. You’ll learn about Medicare Part A and Part B, including enrollment and costs, along with choices in Medicare, including Medigap/Medicare Supplement insurance, Medicare Advantage and Part D prescription drug coverage. You will also find ways that you may be able to save money on your Medicare costs.

This session is intended for people new to Medicare.
