This presentation focuses on the critical but limited role agencies have in the suicide prevention process with emphasis on the following:  Empowering youth agency staff and volunteers through education and awareness, Understanding warning signs & risk factors for teen suicide, Reviewing strategies for dealing with at-risk youth and communicating concern with their parents, Local resources, Policy and protocol.
