Learn about the fight for elder justice from the nation’s leader in the fight against elder abuse, neglect and exploitation. Robert “Bob” Blancato, National Coordinator of the bipartisan, 3,000 member Elder Justice Coalition, has long been recognized as an advocate with policy expertise on behalf of older adults. The original coalition was instrumental in passage of the Elder Justice Act in 2010. Bob, president of Matz, Blancato & Associates in Washington, DC, currently serves as second vice chair of the AARP board and on the board of the National Hispanic Council on Aging. From 2019-23, Bob served on the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services. He was executive director of the 1995 White House Conference on Aging.
