ICWA Webinar Series: The Indian Child Welfare Act and the Role of Tribal and State Court Judges December 05, 2024

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) provides minimum Federal standards for the removal of Indian children from their families and placement in foster and adoptive homes. Federal agencies such as the Departments of Interior (DOI), Justice (DOJ), and Health and Human Services (HHS) each have a role in the implementation of ICWA. This is a multipart series concerning the application of ICWA in State and Tribal courts. Subsequent webinars will be added to this series.
