Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: Symptoms and Strategies April 18, 2024
Cost: $15.00
Children who were prenatally exposed to alcohol can exhibit a vast range of behavioral and learning challenges and likely have a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The FASD diagnosis is missed in 86.5% of adoptive and foster children which leads to bigger challenges as traditional parenting strategies are generally ineffective with children with an FASD. This session will cover the common symptoms as well as the connected/relational strategies recommended for children and adolescents with an FASD.
