Experiences in the Reunification Process – Our Primary Responsibility to Parents, Children, and Youth April 19, 2023

Plummer Youth Promise believes in deeply engaging youth and families as experts in their own lives, honoring existing attachments, and working in partnership to ensure safe and enduring relationships. We believe that parents are at the center of attachment and foster parents play a critical role in supporting that attachment and helping to achieve reunification. The panelists will share their experiences as parents, foster parents, and permanency workers. They will share strategies that can empower families and resolve barriers to reunification. Participants will also learn how the Plummer national training and consulting team supports organizations to learn the skills and practices that lead to reunification and permanency.
