There are more and more complex assessments where Mental Health and Autism co-exist and it is difficult at times to understand the proper identification and treatment approaches. This unique workshop was created to address this need in schools from a Clinical-Educational lens. We will cover best practices for an Autism & Mental Health Assessment as well as how to look beyond test scores and strengthen your clinical interviewing and observation skills. We will explore the power of qualitative data in your assessments and how to ensure we are assessing the whole-child and their needs. We will also cover counseling approaches and tools when working with neurodivergent students.
