Addiction Is a Disease of the Brain July 12, 2017

This workshop discusses addiction as a brain disease, describing what goes on in the brain. Risk factors and protective factors will also be addressed for addiction; what puts people at risk. The effects of substance use on developing brains will be highlighted also with focus on specific substances.
