A Home for the Holidays The 25th Anniversary December 22, 2023
Each year, CBS Television Network presents an inspirational program featuring uplifting stories of adoption from foster care to help raise awareness of this important social issue.
The idea for “A Home for the Holidays” was pitched to CBS by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children’s Action Network to build awareness of the thousands of children who are waiting to be adopted from foster care. The annual primetime special shares stories of foster care adoption and has featured performances from some of America’s most popular music artists, including Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey and more.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of this impactful special, which the Foundation has been proud to sponsor since its inception. Performances by artists including Lauren Daigle, Gavin DeGraw, David Foster & Katharine McPhee, Pentatonix and CeCe Winans will enhance the evening. Thousands of people have been inspired to seek more information on becoming an adoptive parent as a direct result of A Home for the Holidays.
