This symposium aims to increase awareness of amyloidosis as well as focus on its cardiac and neuropathic manifestations. Experts will lead discussions on both non-invasive and invasive diagnostic techniques for cardiac amyloidosis, highlight key challenges and pitfalls regarding false readings and discuss how to improve diagnostic accuracy. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the complexities of amyloid cardiomyopathy and amyloid polyneuropathy, gain insights in how they are presented clinically and how they impact patient care. Exploring current emerging treatment strategies and empowering clinicians to develop evidence-based individualized treatment plans will also be discussed.
