24th Children’s Justice Conference May 02, 2016
The Children’s Justice Task Force is excited to be back in Spokane, Washington hosting the 24th annual Children’s Justice Conference. The CJTF continues to demonstrate our dedication to being on the forefront of change and diversity. The expansion of the conference to eastern Washington proved successful in achieving this goal as well as providing opportunities to others who are unable to travel to Seattle; and being fiscally responsible for the cost of the conference.
The CJTF is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals representing all aspects of child welfare. We represent Prosecutors, Defense attorneys, Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, medicine and foster children. The CJTF supports ideas and projects focused on families and children, while ensuring each area of discipline are represented. We continue our search looking for better ideas for the future while gathering together with professionals seeking to help children and sharing new and innovative ideas to improve the process.
The diversity in the location and progressive seminars promote the goals of the CJTF resulting in an annual increase in numbers of participants to this conference. By your attendance, you demonstrate your willingness to learn new techniques and to share those techniques with fellow professionals.
Thank you for caring so much about the children.
Don Kinney and Teresa Forshag
