14th Annual Childhood Grief and Traumatic Loss Conference March 15, 2018

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Losing a loved one can be one of the most difficult experiences in one’s life. For some, it can be a shattering experience with far-reaching implications. Grief is a process and its emotions are felt differently by each one of us at different times throughout the grieving process. A child’s reaction to a loss may differ greatly from an adults’ reaction. Professionals working with families should be mindful of a child’s experience with loss and should be aware of normal childhood grief responses.
