CT: State passes bill to put stricter regs on DCF
Central Connecticut Communications – May 06, 2016
A bill unanimously approved this week by the Connecticut General Assembly aims to put stricter regulations on the state’s Department of Children and Families. The move comes after the agency failed to properly investigate numerous child-welfare complaints prior to the death of a toddler in 2014. The Terryville child died after ingesting a drug used to treat addiction.
