CT: Overwhelming number of lawmakers unhappy with DCF settlement
Register Citizen – January 24, 2017

The lawsuit filed by the plaintiff Juan F. in 1989 found that the agency fell short of caring for abused and neglected children. Lawmakers on the Appropriations Committee were not thrilled with the deal that would require it to maintain funding for an agency regardless of its performance.
