Greenwich Time – September 30, 2017
The Connecticut General Assembly has compiled a list of all the acts going into effect across the state on Oct. 1 – among them, changes to domestic violence crimes, “sexting,” hate crimes and the Safe Haven law. The Safe Haven law has been in effect since 2000. This act adds some revisions to the state’s laws and will go into effect on Oct. 1.
