Australia: Review of contentious child protection law imposing tight time limit on parents due to begin in Victoria

Most Victorian parents who have had their children removed now have a strict time limit of 12 months in which to prove they can resume the care of their children. The reforms are designed to stop children going to dozens of different placements, but many who work in the system think they go too far.
